Sara has recently completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Management Studies at the University of Waikato. Sara has already completed a BEng (Hons) at the University of Auckland. Sara has received excellent results in this year of study as well as balancing a full time workload. Topics covered included business strategy, marketing, logistics, global business, organisational behaviour, leading high performance teams, investment decision making, financial analysis, accounting, human resources, commercial law, negotiation skills, crisis management and change management.

Sara is currently a Project Engineer for Higgins based on the City Alliance project in Hamilton. Sara is extremely grateful for the funding she has received from the FB EEF and says “The past year has benefitted both my personal and professional development. Alongside the knowledge learnt in class I have strengthened my ability to give equal attention to multiple projects, and the support I received from the Fletcher business throughout this process has been invaluable. I love applying the knowledge I have gained in the workplace, and it has allowed me to progress into new roles which I otherwise may not have had the opportunity or ability to perform at this stage in my career.”
